Our spinnaker poles are built from highest quality pre-pregs fibers. Carbon fiber poles are laid up over male molds or mandrels using unidirectional, pre-preg carbon fiber and autoclave cured. The aluminum mandrels are then extracted leaving a homogeneous, seamless tube. This process results in a light weight, strong product in comparison to other construction methods. All curing is done via autoclave at 80 psi to guarantee the most compact and void free laminate possible.
Spinnaker pole tubes can be ordered in many different sizes. Mata Carbon offers a choice of finishes, from UV resistant clear coat to show off the carbon twill or marine paints to compliment your boat.
